There's no single price for a house map, because the work involved varies a lot from one project to another. Knowing what drives the cost helps you compare quotations fairly.

What affects the cost

  • Plot size and the number of floors to be designed
  • Which drawings are included: floor plans only, or also furniture layout, elevation and other drawings
  • Number of revisions included
  • Whether a 3D elevation is part of the work
  • How complex the plot is (irregular shape, corner plot, sloping site)

How to compare quotations

  • Check exactly which drawings are included and in what format
  • Check how many rounds of changes are included
  • Ask what happens if you need changes later
  • Make sure the scope is written down before you pay

A cheaper quotation that leaves out drawings your builder needs can cost more later. Compare what's included, not just the total.
